Dear Parents,
Our Chaperones for the Bats field trip are the following: Miranda’s grandfather, Parker’s mother, Crissa’s father, Adam’s mother, and Josh’s mom.
CATS testing is May 11-22. The Governor said it is not going to be an accountability test for Kentucky any longer. However, Bullitt County has decided to continue with this type of testing for our accountability. Meaning it is of the same importance to our county as always, and does determine future events for your child at this time.
I will not be sending mid-term reports home this quarter as it is the same thing you see when you go to infinite Campus; if you do not have computer access I will put the grades (as of now) in your child’s planner, just send me a note informing me of the need. We will be doing DRA tests throughout this week during our Language Arts block.
We are out of Kleenex; if you can afford to donate some boxes to our room it would be greatly appreciated. We go through about 2 boxes per week so we’ll need about 16 boxes to get through the year.
We are having a Walk/Run Competition against Mt. Washington Elementary School and Old Mill Elementary School. Students that participate by sending in $5.00 and the form will have lunch in the classroom with the teacher while watching a movie. Classes that have 100% participation receive an Ice cream party.
Relay for Life Classroom Basketball Games will be Tuesday, May 5, 6:20-7:00 for our classroom. We still need parent volunteers to help us: Referee, Clock, take money at the gate, and concession stand.
